Blessed was born from the desire of the tattoo artist Ricardo Prates and his wife Bruna Prates for more. More than just offering great service and high-quality designs, they wanted to redefine the concept of a “traditional tattoo parlor” and create a one-of-kind tattoo shop in Boston, MA.

 

With a client-focused mentality, they envisioned a luxurious and spacious environment that is fully accessible to wheelchairs. That vision — one of a sleek, clean, inviting space where the front desk staff greets you with a smile — came to life as Blessed Tattoo Shop.

 

Tattoo art is now far from the counterculture it once was and much closer to an interactive way of expression built between artists and clients. Tattoos are also about representation. That is one of the reasons Blessed stands out in support of the LGBTQIA+ community.
