  • I booked an appointment. When will I see the design?
We do not send any designs before the day of the tattoo. We work with a collaborative design process, which means you and your artist will work together during the first part of your appointment to create the design together. This allows for a more customized, personal design that both the client and the artist are happy with. We always recommend giving your artist as much creative freedom as possible, to give you the best tattoo possible. That's what you're here for and that's their job.
  • How can I book an appointment?
All booking info can be found on the booking page on our website. Each artist has a portfolio page, which includes a link to their booking page.
  • How do I take care of my tattoo?
1st) Leave the bandage on ('Saniderm' or similar brand) for three to five days. You can expect some body’s natural fluids and plasma forming underneath the patch, and it may not look pretty. There is nothing to worry about it. Once the patch is removed and the tattoo washed, everything goes back to normal. Bandage is breathable and waterproof so you can shower with it on, but DO NOT use hot water. 2nd) Once the bandage is off, let your tattoo fully dry for 10 minutes after you wash it before applying lotion ('Aquaphor' or similar brand). 3rd) Pat dry immediately after washing, then let it dry naturally. If you put petroleum-based products over a tattoo that is even somewhat damp, you're locking that water in your skin, and you should avoid that. 4th) If using regular bandage, keep it on for at least two hours (up to six hours). Remember to always wash your hands with antibacterial soap before cleaning or touching your tattoo. 5th) After removing your bandage, wash the area twice a day with just warm (not hot) water and a mild fragrance-free liquid antibacterial soap, and apply a thin layer of ointment ('Aquaphor' or similar brand) three or four times a day. 6th) After the first two or three days, switch to a mild unscented lotion ('Lubriderm' or similar brand) or coconut oil. Avoid any lotions with fragrances or aloe. If possible, use freshly washed bedsheets, clothes, and towels during the healing process. Disposable paper towels are great for direct contact with the tattoo when washing or drying.

Therefore, we need all clients to bring a valid document to prove their age at the appointment date. *If you leave a deposit online, and you are not of age, that will result in a loss of your deposit.

  • What should I not do with my tattoo during the healing process?
Do not scratch or pick. This removes ink and may lead to infections. Avoid direct sunlight. For the first two weeks, try to limit sun exposure - if you know you'll be out in the sun for prolonged periods, wear a thin layer of clothing over the tattoo. After the first two weeks, use a high-SPF sunscreen on your tattoo when in the sun. Avoid tanning beds for at least a month. Avoid soaking in any water (lake, ocean, bathtub, pool) for the first month, especially critical during the first two weeks. Avoid heavy sweating in the area of your tattoo for two weeks. Wash after sweating. Do not use too much lotion or Aquaphor. Put only a thin layer, as you would if you were moisturizing the area normally. Do not let your tattoo stick to sheets or clothing. If stuck, soak the cloth to remove it rather than ripping it off. This is usually only a concern for the first night when it will be a bit oozy.
